March is fast approaching, which means we will all be looking forward to World Book Day 2023; a day packed with reading fun.
Although the official day this year is 2nd March, we will be hosting our RPS Primary World Book Day on Friday 3rd March 2023. Children and staff are asked to attend school dressed as their favourite book character on the day so we will be looking forward to seeing the amazing costumes.
We are also preparing a video competition. Teachers and staff will be masked reading a passage from The Gruffalo. A book that we all love. Children can then write down who they think each reader behind the mask is. At the end, we will reveal each reader for you to see if you managed to guess right.
