The school day
The school day for Year 1 to Year 6 pupils starts with children lining up at 8:55am for a 9:00am start and ends at 3:30pm.
The school day for Reception pupils starts at 9:00am and ends at 3:15pm.
Nursery is open from 9.00am until 12.00pm and then again from 12.15pm through to 3.15pm for the afternoon children.
Morning break time for Years 1 & 2 is 10.15am – 10.30am.
Morning break time for Years 3 – 6 is 11:15am – 11:30am.
Lunch times are staggered but each child has a break for 1 hour.
Children are in school for 6 hours and 30 minutes a day (Monday to Friday), during term time. This totals 32 and a 1/2 hours in a typical week. This equates to 380 sessions or 190 days a year.
