It’s British Science Week this week at RPS Primary and one of the many subjects we have been looking at this week is “Global Warming” and how this phenomenon has affected our planet and our way of life.
Lea Class have been looking at a few of the many causes of global warming that we are trying to combat now. These include our carbon foot print and what we can do to reduce it, deforestation and the affects this is having on our air quality, and ozone layer, and the pollution of our oceans and the affects this is having on the natural habitat and food source for our fish and ocean mammals.
The children built some models to represent these issues, which can be seen in the gallery below.
