Our Science Ambassadors are here to tell you about some exciting events taking place at Rotherhithe Primary School after the Easter break.
Explosive Food Workshop: Wednesday 17th April 2024:
On 17th April from 2pm to 3pm in the main hall we will be hosting an explosive Science Workshop for parents and carers entitled “Explosive Food”. Learn about food and its often explosive nature. Find out about the incredible amount of energy contained in the food that goes into our tummies in this fun packed show with exciting chemistry and physics demonstrations.
The STEAM FAIR: Friday 19th April 2024:
On Friday 19th April from 3:30pm until 4pm we will be hosting our very first STEAM Fair for 2024. This event will host a plethora of fun and exciting Science, technology, engineering, and artistic workshops for you all to enjoy.
Some of the events in store will be:
- Pendulum timer experiments
- Fun with jelly
- parent workshops
- and much, much more…

RPS Primary is pleased to announce a series of open mornings for parents and carers to visit the school. All start at 9:30am running until 11am. They will consist of a tour of the school conducted by a group of current pupils followed by a talk by the Head of School or a member of the senior leadership team.
