This week, RPS Primary celebrated Safer Internet Day. We welcomed Open View Education who visited our school to offer a series of workshops to help children better understand Internet Safety and how to make good choices online.
OpenView Education provides drama-based internet safety workshops that empower students to become digitally resilient. They host a number of appropriate workshops for children in Early Years Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
They have as strong belief in a whole school approach; therefore, they provide training for all the parents and carers at your school as well as the children. Their workshops are created by subject specialists and delivered through drama, providing your whole school community with an engaging and relevant learning experience.
Here are the workshops that we enjoyed this week:
- Power to Choose: E-Safety Workshop – Upper KS2
- One Good Choice: E-Safety Assembly – KS2
- Internet Safety Wizards: E-Safety Assembly – EYFS and KS1.
You can find out more about Open View Education here.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Open View Education team for coming along and spending some time with us. We all found the workshops extremely useful. We also took some pictures of the workshops, which can be seen in the gallery below. Please click on the thumbnails for a larger view.
