A group of children were recently invited to to a workshop/play date at the Silwood Estate MUGA to be involved in the filming of a short 30 second video for SAPCA (Sports and Play Construction Association) as part of an award shortlist for Playinnovation and L&Q for the MUGA project.
The Silwood Estate has recently undergone a MUGA refurbishment, with the help of a partnership between ball court specialists Play Innovation and L&Q Housing Trust. As part of the project, Play Innovation ‘accessorised’ the fencing with their educational target games, basketball combi goals and a brand new product, ‘Corner Skills’ which is designed to activate empty corners with Noughts & Crosses and Cricket inspired games.
In return for the schools’ assistance, Play Innovation donated a free ‘Corner Skills’ target game worth £2,400 plus free installation and delivery. You can see the children enjoying our new installation in the video here. Please clickon the play button to watch.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Marco from Play Innovation for giving us the opportunity to be a part of this project, and of course, in donating this fun new sporting game. The children are enjoying it immensly.
