On Wednesday Jo Mortimer (Computing Lead) ran a workshop for parents about how to keep children safe on line. We hope that parents found the workshop useful. Parents were very keen to find out about on-line activities that children could use at home.
The following are a few that we know of.
- The Think u know website (https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/) has activities for all ages and focusses on educating children to keep safe on line, it has an online cyber café for children.
- BBC Bitesize has a variety of age appropriate activities to support children’s learning at home in many subject areas.
- http://www.coolmath-games.com/ a range of free maths games.
- https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/games. Cbeebies have a variety of free games for young children to play.
