We are back in the practical room for more healthy eating with Kealan. This time, we are joined by Reception children who were busy making some delicious Mackerel Pate. They started by skinning the smoked mackerel and then shredding it into small pieces. They then added some cream cheese and some lemon juice and mixed thoroughly to form a smooth paste. They then spooned the finished pate into a serving dish and decorated the pate with chopped or sliced cucumber.
The children did an amazing job and some of them also enjoyed the taste of the pate! Take a look at the gallery below.
