Street artist Marc Craig has come to visit the school where he has let the children create characters using A.I. for a 100-metre hoarding located in the Bermondsey area. In a few days when it is done, feel free to come see this special mural with various colourful characters!
“One way to create a mural is simply just creating it yourself, but sometimes it gets lonely or hard, so sometimes people collaborate (when you work with more than one person) which can create wonderful artwork pieces!” says Marc.
Marc has been with us all week starting with an assembly on Tuesday explaining how this all works. He has then sat with every child asking a few simple questions which will then choose a robot for the individual child depending on the answers to the questions. These robot images will then receive Marc’s signature style when they will finally be transferred to the hoarding.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Marc for being so amazing and spending the whole week with us. This mural is only made up of RPS Primary children’s robots so it will be unique t this school. Amazing!
