Run Rotherhithe Run!!! Rotherhithe school is joining children from four other local primary schools for a community fundraising fun run on Sunday 5th October at Southwark Park Athletics Track from 2-4pm.
Year 6 continued their art unit by considering how symbolism in art can be used to convey a meaning. They generated a range of symbols, patterns and colours that represented them and filled a space that created an aesthetically pleasing piece of artwork.
Year 6 enjoyed their first lesson on ‘Living things and their habitats’ by designing their own chart to classify objects according to their characteristics. This was then linked to how animals and plants are classified.
Year 3 commenced their art unit on Drawing: Growing Artists by recognising how artists use shape in drawings. They looked at a range of objects (including a pumpkin from our school garden) and identified associated
