Over the past few weeks, Coach has been teaching the children a series of floor exercises associated with floor routines in Gymnastics. These floor exercises can be very challenging and require a good level of fitness, focus and core strength. The children have shown real determination as they have worked hard to master these skills.
Today Coach asked the children to use the floor exercises that they have been working on and combine a series of them together to create a floor routine. The children broke off into teams and first discussed which floor exercises they would consider for their routine before practicing their chosen combinations.
