Year 6 children continued their Drawing unit by applying their understanding of tone to the technique of hatching; using pattern and contrast when creating a mixed-media drawing based on the collage compositions from the previous lesson. They thoroughly enjoyed choosing the most interesting part of their collage to recreate and using a range of scratched marks to add contrast and patterns.
