In the first week of this term, Year 1 began their new science unit on Plants, focusing on understanding that seeds grow into plants. The children learned how to plant a seed, carefully discussing what plants need to grow and following each step with enthusiasm.
They enjoyed handling the seeds, soil and pots, and showed great care while planting them. Since then, pupils have been closely observing their seeds and are already excited by how much they have grown. The children have been amazed to see real changes happening and are developing a strong understanding of how plants grow over time.
