Year 6 combined art and science once again by creating detailed scientific diagrams of the heart. Pupils applied specific art techniques, such as careful shading, to add depth and accuracy to their drawings while reinforcing key scientific vocabulary. This activity also provided another valuable opportunity for pupils to orally rehearse and explain the movement of blood through the heart, supporting retention and deepening their understanding of the circulatory system.
