Year 6 swapped their pencils for aprons today as they embarked on the first instalment of the highly anticipated “Come Dine With Me” cooking session. The atmosphere in the kitchen was a lively blend of sizzling pans, excited chatter, and the unmistakable aroma of freshly prepared ingredients.
Working in small groups, pupils took on the challenge of designing, preparing, and presenting a complete dish that was healthy, environmentally friendly and reduced fruit wastage in the school. With teamwork at the heart of the experience, each group assigned roles ranging from head chef and sous‑chef to presentation expert. We can’t wait to taste it!
