Richard, from the London Beekeepers Association, visited RPS and conducted fascinating workshops with Y2 and Y3/4 children. The children (and adults) learnt a lot about honeybees and other bees, their anatomy, the nest and life cycle, the importance of bees in food production and bee products such as honey.
Richard was very impressed with our children’s enthusiasm and behaviour for learning as well as being blown away by the children’s prior knowledge!
