As part of our up-coming Spanish Day celebrations, Year 6 have drawn inspiration from Pablo Picasso’s Blue Period—an era marked by the use of somber, monochromatic shades of blue and blue-green.
This artistic style resonated deeply with the students, who have been exploring the theme of conservation this term. They felt that the melancholic tones of Picasso’s work powerfully reflect the plight of ocean animal’s suffering due to pollution, particularly from plastic waste.
