In preparation for International tasting day on Friday, Year 6 had a busy afternoon cooking up a storm!
Half of the class peeled, chopped and experimented with spices to create a Jamaican black-eyed pea curry whilst the other half of the class measured and observed a chemical reaction (with bicarbonate soda and hot water) and how vital it was in creating chewy Australian Anzac biscuits.
The children are very much looking forward to tasting the fruits of their endeavour!
