Josef Albers (an American-German artist) provided the inspiration for Year 2’s next piece of artwork as they explored abstract art by developing their map drawings into a stained-glass style of artwork.
First, they simplified a drawn idea, looking for big shapes and important lines. Then they cut, layered and arranged the shapes.
