

Year 4 and Year 5 students recently visited the Siri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara in Croydon as part of their Religious Education lessons focused on Sikhism.
During the trip, they were warmly welcomed and learned about the significance of the Gurdwara along with various rituals and practices. Knowledgeable guides provided valuable insights that helped the students better understand the values and beliefs of the Sikh community.
The experience included a delicious hot meal that not only satisfied their appetites but also highlighted the communal spirit of sharing and hospitality central to Sikhism. Overall, the visit was enriching, deepening the students’ understanding of the culture and teachings of Sikhism in a meaningful way.
