About the Super Me drawing competition
Super Me drawing competition is a fun way for 4-7 year-olds to link literacy and art. Your pupils can create a superhero or draw a real-life one such as a nurse or firefighter (which links in with People Who Help Us topic!). Encourage your pupils to let their imaginations run free & practise literacy by using labels on their drawings or even writing a short descriptive sentence or two on their entry form. (Writing and drawing must all be on the same entry form!) Your pupils’ drawings could be published in a book as part of the Super Me book series and there are amazing prizes to be won including £1,000 for the school that submits the best set of entries. Plus our favourite drawing in each Super Me book becomes the front cover!
