Run Rotherhithe Run!!!
Rotherhithe school is joining children from four other local primary schools for a community fundraising fun run on Sunday 15th October at Southwark Park Athletics Track from 2-4pm. All Rotherhithe pupils from nursery to year 6, and their parents, are invited but in order to take part, you need to register. By registering and taking part, the opportunity for Rotherhithe Primary School to be awarded a £5000.00 grant for sporting and play equipment increases. All we have to do is raise £500.00 for the opportunity to receive this much needed grant.

Sponsorship
We’re raising £500 to fund two netball nets for Rotherhithe Primary, with extra money going towards equipment for our new Year 6 Play Leaders to run games. We would like to buy new equipment for our playground!
The school is full of talented, driven children, who we at the school, try to support, so that they can fulfil their potential every day. We want to buy two new netball nets! A major drive for the school is to get more girls involved in organised sports. We know that netball is a brilliant vehicle to do just that! Netball is an excellent invasion game that leads to transferable skills in football, rugby and so many more sports!
Any additional money will go towards buying equipment for our new Year 6 Play Leaders (children with extra responsibility, trained to lead games for their peers and younger children during lunch time play.) Our greatest resource is the energy of the children – this challenge is a perfect way of harnessing our collective drive to improve provision and opportunity for the most important people in the school.
You may see some of your favourite teachers running too!!
