How do you respond to unfairness? This year, our pupils learned that the answer is often love, culture, and community. By studying Claudia Jones, the founder of Carnival, our school explored how one person’s vision for unity can change the world.
From crafting intricate wings to parading in our school-wide carnival, the children experienced first-hand the joy of cultural respect. It was a wonderful reminder that we should always be proud of our unique identities while celebrating the differences that bring us together.
