On Tuesday, Thames, Lee and Brent Class started an Art project related to the art piece “Going Up Garrowby Hill by David Hockney. David Hockney is an English painter, draughtsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. As an important contributor to the pop art movement of the 1960s, he is considered one of the most influential British artists of the 20th century.
We recreated this magnificent piece using oil pastels. paint, and felt tip pens. Here are a few samples of our finished artwork.
RPS Primary is pleased to announce a series of open mornings for parents and carers to visit the school. All start at 9:30am running until 11am. They will consist of a tour of the school conducted by a group of current pupils followed by a talk by the Head of School or a member of the senior leadership team.
