Rotherhithe Primary School is very pleased to announce a recent update sent to us from the Golden Hinde Competition runners. Please see the letter sent to us below. A huge well done to our amazing children and to everyone who took part in this tough competition.
Dear Alex,
Thank you and your students for participating in our Golden Hinde Flag Design competition! We were thrilled by the number of beautiful and inspiring entries we received, making Tuesday’s judging session incredibly challenging.
We are delighted to share that two of your students have been awarded 2nd and 3rd place in the KS2 category, with an additional entry receiving a highly commended mention.

As part of their prize, each student will receive a certificate of achievement, which we’ll send to you. Their artwork will also be featured in a physical exhibition aboard The Golden Hinde this January. More details about the exhibition and an invitation for you and the students to visit will follow soon.
Once again, thank you for all the effort you and your students have put into this competition. We deeply appreciate the time and creativity that went into these wonderful pieces of artwork.
