Teaching children to care about the environment and to live sustainably is very important to RPS. All children will have an opportunity to garden and grow food that they then cook and eat during their time at RPS.
Our parent volunteer Andreia and our gardening club have done a fantastic job harvesting some of the vegetables they have grown. Pumpkins, peppers, tomatoes, carrots and courgettes. All our foods are grown organically.
Have you ever seen such gigantic courgettes! Our gardening club must truly have ‘magical green fingers’.
I can’t wait to taste the courgette fritters being made next week!
