Children who read regularly and for pleasure do better academically. They are exposed to new vocabulary and to worlds and ideas they may not have experienced before. At RPS we are always looking for opportunities to encourage children to read.
So, a huge thank you to all parents who joined us for our reading cafes this week. All children from nursery to year 6 selected two books to take home and read.
