Year 6 pupils became digital detectives this week as they explored what makes an effective webpage.
During their computing lesson, the children analysed a range of websites, carefully examining their design, layout and content. They identified key features that help webpages engage visitors, including clear navigation menus, eye-catching images, informative text and appropriate use of colour.
The pupils discussed how successful webpages are organised to make information easy to find and understand. They also considered the importance of accessibility, readability and online safety when creating content for different audiences.
Working collaboratively, the children evaluated examples of webpages and shared their opinions on what worked well and what could be improved. Their thoughtful observations demonstrated excellent critical thinking and a growing understanding of web design.
