Year 6 pupils have been putting their science knowledge to the test as they explored the exciting world of electricity.
During the lesson, children successfully identified the different parts of an electrical circuit, including cells, wires, bulbs, switches and buzzers. They then learned how scientists and engineers represent circuit components using standard electrical symbols.
The budding electricians took on the challenge of constructing their own circuits using both circuit diagrams and real-life components. Working carefully in teams, they connected equipment to create complete circuits and tested whether their designs worked as planned.
