Year 6 Combine Science and Maths in Fascinating Mould Investigation
Year 6 have been applying their maths skills in a hands-on science investigation exploring mould growth on bread. By calculating the area of mould patches, they were able to record and analyse their results with precision.
To deepen their understanding, the children also examined mould spores under a microscope, sparking curiosity and discussion about microorganisms and hygiene. A brilliant example of cross-curricular learning in action!
