On Friday 16th March 2018, Year 1 visited the V&A Museum of Childhood, Bethnal Green. The V&A Museum of Childhood is the UK’s National Museum of Childhood. It is the largest institution of its kind in the world. Its mission is to hold in trust the nation’s childhood collections and to be an international leader in engaging audiences in the material culture and experiences of childhood.
The children had great fun learning about the history of Teddy Bears. Since the visit, one of the toys has gone missing! So our fantastic writers in year 1 have been designing Missing Posters in class to help the museum. A huge thanks to parents who helped on the day you were fantastic!
