On Friday 12th July, Rotherhithe Primary School opened its doors to Parents and Carers to celebrate “International Day 2019”. Throughout the day, our parents were entertained by all year groups offering a plethora of songs, dance, and instrumentals that they have been learning throught the year with Margaret and Kemi.
All of our children and staff have come in today dressed in country flags and traditional clothing worn in their native country or country of origin. It is a spectacular sight as our children parade around the school looking absolutely amazing in their traditional wear.
To complete the celebrations, we all congregated in the playground for a fantastic day of International Food brought in by the parents and staff where we enjoyed a feast together accompanied by the Dog Kennel Hill Band.
We took a mountain of pictures today and matched these with hours of video footage, which can be viewed below. We hope that you had an amazing day with us and we look forward to our next International Celebration together.
