Sunday 21st January was World Religion Day. In assembly this week our children learnt that the first World Religion Day was held in 1950 and it is held on the third Sunday of January every year. The National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’i faith in the United States initiated World Religion Day to encourage interfaith understanding.
We considered the core message of love and respect that is evident across many religions. We encourage all to follow this Golden Rule ‘Do to others what you would wish for’.
