Thank you to all parents who took the time to complete the parent-school communication survey. The governors and I met during the half term break to
consider your responses. We would like to thank you for the many positive comments and thoughtful suggestions to help us improve further.
We have been informed by some parents that they had not been able to scroll to the right when making selections and were concerned that this may have reduced the positivity of judgements. We have taken this into consideration.
We will be presenting the outcomes of the survey at a special parent governor event on the 20th June at 3:30 pm. Please see flyer. There will be a similar event at Dog Kennel Hill on the 13th June at 6 pm. Both school choirs will sing together at each event.
One of your requests was for greater notice of assemblies. Class teachers will endeavour to give you 2 days’ notice if they have been selected to be Star of the Week. Please see over an outline of class assemblies for the rest of the term to help you prepare to attend such events.
At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents.
