Galiema (Executive Head Teacher) continues to have regular meetings in preparation for our anticipated new build. Most recent meetings have focused on the exciting new information technology equipment that the school will have in each classroom.
‘Enabling works’, which start during the summer holidays, are adjustments to the current building and playground to enable the school to run smoothly on site, while the building works occur. The first phase of enabling works will require the new nursery to be relocated into the classroom next to the current Reception classes. New nursery children will enter the school via the current Reception gate. The current whale classroom, nursery and octopus class will be removed and works will start along this side of the schools land first.
In September, parents and children will continue to enter the school building via the current entrance. Meetings are ongoing and we will provide more updates accordingly.
