With December drawing closer, Rotherhithe Primary is getting ready for a bumper month of festive activities. Have your diary at the ready and make some notes of the many important dates below. We hope to see you all at every one of these amazing events.
Christmas Food Fair:
On Friday 6th December from 3:15pm through to 4:30pm RPS Primary will host a spectacular Christmas Food Fair! Taking place in the Junior Hall, the school will be in a very festive mood as we host Santa’s Grotto, food stalls, book stalls, delicious refreshments, face painting, glitter tattoos, a huge Christmas Raffle and much, much more.

Christmas Concert:
Please save the date and come to the RPS Key Stage 2 Christmas Concert on Wednesday 11th December 2019. There will be two performances on the day.
These are as follows:
- 10:45 am for parents of children in years 3 and 5
- 2:15pm for parents of children in years 4 and 6
Tickets costing £1 each will be on sale from the class teacher from the week of the 25th November. Maximum of 2 tickets per family.
EYFS Christmas Performances:
Nursery:
RPS Nursery invite you to their Christmas performances on Thursday 12th December. Tickets are priced at £1.00 per person. We have two performance times on the day so please try and make one of the shows.
The performance times are as follows:
- Morning performance at 10:45 am
- Afternoon performance at 1 pm
Reception:
We warmly invite you to Reception’s Christmas performance on Thursday 12th December. Tickets are priced at £1.00 per person. We have two performance times on the day so please try and make one of the shows.
The performance times are as follows:
- Morning performance at 9:20 am
- Afternoon performance at 2 pm
Christmas Jumper Day:
On 13th December children and staff are invited to wear their very best Christmas Jumpers for the festive season, and raise some much needed funds for Save the Children. If you would like to wear a Christmas Jumper, please donate £1.00 for the charity.
Christmas Lunch:
Also on 13th December, the RPSPrimary kitchen team will be serving a delicious Christmas lunch with all the traditional trimmings for everyone to enjoy, setting the scene for the forthcoming holidays. Parents, if your child normally has a packed lunch but would like a Christmas lunch, please let the office know.
