This visit included a tour of the airport and yes they did watch some aeroplanes take off and land. The children were presented with the task of rebranding a failing airline. They learned about marketing and advertising.
Once again they worked within groups as a team to solve problems. The children had to create slogans, and plan a final ‘pitch’ in a Dragons Den type presentation showing how they would rebrand and turn this failing company around.
Again the children were fantastic. They even received a complement on the DLR regarding their polite sensible behavior. Well done year 5 we are very proud of you!
